Aniket is an emerging sports lawyer with a growing footprint in the field of sports dispute resolution and athlete representation. He is currently a final-year student at National Law University, Odisha, and has joined Sensato Legal as a trainee in July 2025.
Over the course of his academic journey, Aniket has developed a focused interest in sports law, particularly in matters involving player contracts, disciplinary proceedings, regulatory compliance, and anti-doping. He has interned with sports law firms and advocates working at the intersection of domestic and international sports regulations, gaining practical exposure to proceedings before bodies such as the AIFF’s Players Status Committee and learning the nuances of player-club disputes, league operations, and commercial agreements.
Aniket has co-authored analytical pieces on contemporary issues such as doping in football and continues to explore evolving topics in sports governance, athlete rights, and personality rights protection through legal writing and research. His advocacy skills have been shaped through his participation in the Sports Arbitration Moot (SAM), where he argued issues of jurisdiction, contractual breach, and damages before a simulated CAS panel.
With a keen eye for detail, strong research acumen, and a collaborative mindset, Aniket seeks to grow his expertise while contributing to the continued expansion and innovation of the firm’s sports law practice.
